The Founder, Dr. Madhuri Singh, who passed on February 16th, 2023, built this facility with a vision to serve the citizens of Warman. Health Minister Paul Merriman and Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) CEO Andrew Will, announced the opening of SHA’s Warman Primary Health Center on August 2nd, 2023 (news story here). The facility took an important first step toward transitioning to a primary health team-based model. This means Warman citizens will have improved access to primary care. With an abundance of land next to the facility, the ownership team continues to look at creating a primary health center of excellence to serve the community and model for other communities in the Province of Saskatchewan.

The Nurse Practitioner led clinic can provide health assessments to form a diagnosis, propose a treatment plan, and collaborate with physicians and other health-care professionals. Nurse Practitioners are healthcare professionals who can independently assess and treat common illnesses and injuries, screen and manage the presence of common illnesses and chronic conditions, monitor patients with stable chronic diseases, prescribe medications and referrals to specialists, and order and interpret the results of laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostics tests.

Currently, the clinic is not taking any appointments for family medicine. We are working on models to provide physician services at the clinic. Meanwhile, the Nurse Practitioners (NP) are fully qualified to provide primary care and are taking only booked appointments only at this time. You can call (306) 844-4380. As the services expand, we hope that we can accommodate walk-in appointments.

Laboratory and X-ray services are provided through Gama Medical Center, a private health, medical and pharmacy clinic, within the new shared space. Available by appointment and walk-in, it is conveniently located within the Warman Primary Health Center. Click here to book or call.

Should you require access to your medical records, please call the clinic to arrange it. Depending on the extent of records required, an administrative fee will be charged. We thank you for your continued support. Depending on the current burden on the health system and specialists, the clinic may be able to facilitate a consult with a specialist. We will do our best to ensure your peace of mind.
